Restorative and Intravenous Therapies

Many of our patients come to us due to severe health issues which have negatively impacted their quality of life and have even been life threatening. In treating these issues we’re often performing restorative therapies to overcome the patient’s sickness and bring back their quality of life. Restorative therapies can range from bio-identical hormones to intravenous treatments.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive treatment process where patients are exposed to 100 percent oxygen in a pressurized environment. The treatment helps patients with a variety of health issues including:

HBOT helps patients restore their health and heal faster because the process substantially increases the patient’s blood plasma, promoting quicker cell growth and overall improved healing and even helping to fight infection.

Intravenous Therapies

Intravenous delivery of necessary nutrients has proven to be an effective way to quickly help a body absorb nutrients and vital fluids. We’ve found this to be an effective treatment protocol for a variety of illnesses and ailments including improving the body’s metabolic processes, replenishing depleted nutrients and ultimately reviving tissues and organs that were previously functioning less than optimally. We’ve even found great results with intravenous delivery of nutrients and platelet rich plasma in patients who’ve had degenerative joints, chronic inflammation and chronic tendonitis. the womb, they’re an excellent source of stem cells. Other methods to retrieve stem cells include self-donated, which entails the physician harvesting stem cells directly from the patient. The third method of retrieval of stem cells is called embryonic, which have been a topic of debate in recent years as they’re derived from embryos donated from in-vitro fertilization clinics.

Bio-Identical Hormones Bringing Life Back Into Balance

We specialize in hormone regulation and replacement for women experiencing a variety of hormonal issues throughout their life, including: menopause, pre-menopause, stress, irregular cycles, hormone disruption and dysregulation. Often ignored when it comes to hormone issues, we also help men with hormone changes relating to stress and andropause or male menopause.

Correcting Thyroid Issues

Thyroid problems result in changes to the body’s metabolism, energy levels and result in magnified fatigue, weight gain, and often noticeable changes in the person’s hair and nails. With all of the pollutants and toxins present in the environment, thyroid problems are one of the leading causes and contributing factors to chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. There are many situations where autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto’s and Graves have gone undetected as well as thyroid nodules being present in almost 10 percent of the population.

Adrenal Gland Issues: ACTH, AM Cortisol, PM Cortisol, Adrenal Antibodies

Adrenal problems can be caused by stressors (adrenal insufficiency), and are often not caught by traditional primary care physicians. Most adrenal problems in traditional medicine are thought of as being only Cushing’s Disease, adrenal hyper-function, or Addison’s Disease, when in fact a majority of the Adrenal issues are to varying degrees of hyper- and hypo- function without enough criteria to warrant a Cushing’s or Addison’s diagnosis. Adrenal gland issues affect energy levels and fatigue, improper response to pain and inflammation, and problems of electrolyte balance.

Lab Testing

As part of our treatment programs, we regularly rely on labs to validate our observations and thoughts of what may be a patient’s health issue or cause of the issue. We use standard lab testing for our evaluations. However, we also regularly use functional medicine testing to help get to the root of the problem – utilizing labs specialized labs in order to uncover problems not previously found by conventional primary care physicians. Additionally, we routinely test for nutritional and mineral deficiencies, and treat them with what we have found as contributing factors in hormonal irregularities.
